Our original training center in Germany has won awards for architectural design and energy usage. Many trainings are also hosted via mobile learning environments and are therefore available worldwide.

Meet our trainers

SMA’s permanent North American learning facility sits near the capitol of California, which also happens to be the capitol of the continent’s solar industry. Based in Rocklin, California, the Solar Academy is 20 minutes east of Sacramento, nestled west of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. With both string and central inverter training labs, attendees can get hands-on experience with inverter, communication, and control solutions for the residential, commercial, and utility PV and storage markets.
